Die Jury entschied denkbar knapp für Benedikta Manzano mit dem Lied “Mehr Mitgefühl für Märkte”. Auf den großartigen zweiten Platz folgten die refugees of the vienna refugee camp. / Edged out by Benedikta Manzano and her song “Mehr Mitgefühl für Märkte” (“More compassion for the markets”) after an incredibly narrow decision by the jury, the refugees of the vienna refugee camp won the second prize.

Recently it had gotten increasingly difficult to get UNHCR to stick to a proper and official appointment. Also, on the morning of February 5th (this morning) refugee activist H. was deported to Hungary.

Update, 5.2.2013: Hussain wurde heute morgen im Rahmen der Dublin-II-Verordnung nach Ungarn abgeschoben. / Hussain was deported earlier this morning as a part of Dublin-II regualted expulsion procedure.

Gemeinsam wurden die Forderungen und die Perspektiven des Protests diskutiert.
