Jango Edwards performing for Refugee Protest Camp

Servitenkloster, Müllnergasse 6, 1090 Vienna
Jango Edwards, founder of the “Nouveau Clown” movement, is one the most successful contemporary comedians worldwide. Born in the USA, he has performed all over the planet. He has been persecuted by Homeland Security and lives as a refugee without official passport in Spain. His famous provocative acts are devoted to freedom, love and crossing the limits of conventions. He does not want to understand the sense of borders and offers humour and smile as “a weapon of mass construction”.
On behalf of COMICODEON – Die Komikagentur he is performing as the leading star of the International Clown Festival of Vienna. As he knew from Refugee Protest Camp, he immediately offered to do a free show in solidarity with the Refugees in Servitenkloster. This is a unique chance to see one of the most famous international clowns in an improvised act. Come and bring your friends to enjoy quite a different approach to political solidarity – through humour.
