Between 25th of January and 11th of February 2011, 500 activists moved from Bamako/Mali to the 11th World Social Forum in Dakar/Senegal, demonstrating for freedom of movement and a just development. The caravan was organized by afrique-europe-interact, an African-European network. The caravan was accompanied by the filmmakers Andrea Plöger and Sabine Weber. The documentary shows the activities of the caravan as well as interviews with activists addressing structural reasons of migration, and scandalizing deportations and human rights violations. The documentary is in German and French, but there will be an English translation during the screening. After the film screening there will be a discussion with some of the activists from afrique-europe-interact.

Vernissage: „”I haaß Kolaric, du haaßt Kolaric. Warum sogn´s zu dir Tschusch?” Opening of the exhibition that shows posters that adress the Austrian migrant regime from the 1970ies on. The exhibition will be hosted at the refugee protest camp until summer. Vernissage with wine/drinks and cheese.
